Q: Do you supply a contract for your wedding videography services?
A: Yes, after we have a chance to talk with you personally about your specific needs, we will e-mail your contract out to you. After you review your contract you return a signed copy with your retainer.
Q: How long does it take to receive the DVD after the wedding?
A: Wedding DVDs are typically ready 8-12 weeks from your wedding day. Cinematic editing is highly individualized and requires a great deal of time and creativity. If for any reason your DVD will take longer, we will notify you right away. The absolute longest you will wait is 16 weeks, but that is extremely rare.
Q: Can you do titles? Is this an additional cost?
A: Yes, and it is included in your cost. Your DVD will be fully authored according to the days events.
Q: Does the retainer count towards my balance?
A:Yes, the retainer counts towards your balance.
Q: Are you inconspicuous during the ceremony?
A: Absoultely. We understand and respect that this is your special date. Everything our videographers do during your ceremony will reflect the highest level of professionalism and will not distract from any of your day's events. The way we see it, our job is to capture your special day, and not to interfere with it.
Q: What do you think about working with our still photographer?
A: We see any and all of your hired wedding help (your photographer, wedding coordinator, disc jockey, etc.) as our peers. We are very conscious of what your photographer is doing, and we stay out of their way and allow them to do what you have hired them to do. We communicate closely with those who are handling your reception to make sure we are on top of all those special extras!
Q: Can you provide extra wedding DVD copies of the finished wedding?
A: Yes, we can provide additional copies of $25 each.
Q: Do you interview guests at the reception?
A: We collect what we refer to as 'guests wishes'- basically we go around at the reception and grant a few seconds to anyone who wants to talk. At your request, we will ask the parents, grandparents and wedding party to give a short and meaningful message to the bride and groom.
Q: Can you make a video photo montage? If so, what is your price?
A: Yes. A 100 picture photo montage is $300. If you prefer a different number of pictures, another price can be negotiated.
Q: Do you charge for mileage?
A: There is no charge for weddings in Tucson. However, there may be additional travel charges for weddings outside Tucson. We will inform you of any possible travel charges prior to your booking.
Q: How far will you travel to videotape my wedding?
A: How much are you willing to pay for our travel? If you REALLY want us to film your wedding in Jamaica, you got it!!
Q: How is your time billed?
A: Our time begins when we reach the first location and ends when we leave your final location. Travel time to a reception counts on the clock. You should take this into account when choosing your package. It is better to book more time than not enough!
Q: Do I get to choose any music I want?
A: Yes! Your wedding video should be a reflection of who you are. If you have a favorite song, we will be happy to include it in the video. If you wish to choose your own music, we would ask that you send us your CD(s) well in advance of your wedding day. If you would prefer to leave the music selection up to us, that is fine as well. We have an extensive library.
Q: Do you charge extra for music and or editing?
A: No- it's included in our packages.
Q: What is your Presidio 3-year guarantee?
A: That's our exclusive guarantee that we will replace your DVD free of charge if your original should get damaged within 3 years. Talk about peace of mind! Even if it's your fault, just send us back your original DVD (or whatever's left of it, should it get accidentally stepped on or melted on the stove) and we will replace it free of charge. We haven't found any other videography company that offers this. You can see the full details of this guarantee when we send you your contract.
